Commentary Conventional composition.
In the foreground, Sancho is blanketed by the innkeeper Juan Palomeque and others while, from the background, don Quixote observes him.
Illustration with quality; the small size figures have been well-drawn and engraved.
Notes 1 - Plate IV.
2 - Surrounded by a strong line enclosing underneath a space for inscription, which however has been left blank.
3 - Copy after Trémolières' illustration (La Haye: Hondt, 1746).
4 - Probably, the copy has been done after the plate for Paris/La Haye: Chez Bleuet, 1774, which has a similar frame and underneath space but with caption.
5 - The plate is signed by the engraver on the print fixed to the inn wall.
